One of the highlights was the performance of The White Buffalo, whose powerful voice and intense performance impressed the audience.

Matt Andersen created an intimate atmosphere with his soulful blues, while The Long Ryders had the audience dancing with their energetic rock ’n roll. Torgeir Waldemar managed to hold the attention with his captivating songs, and Katherine Priddy also enchanted the audience with her dreamy, folky sound.

Other notable performances were Kaia Kater, known for her unique combination of banjo and storytelling, and Grayson Capps, who embodied the essence of Americana with his raw voice and catchy lyrics.

Uncle Lucius brought their characteristic mix of southern rock and soul, and the Eric Devries Trio provided a harmonious end to the day.

The Songwriter’s Spotlight paid tribute to the legendary David Rodriguez, where talented singer-songwriters interpreted his work and played their own music. Dutch artists, such as Rosa Spruit, also contributed to a varied program with international allure.

The Ramblin’ Roots Festival 2024 was a great success and once again proved the power of Americana and roots music, with performances that did justice to the genres and gave the audience an unforgettable day in the heart of Utrecht.
